About Rogue Branding
BUILT ON RELATIONSHIPS. DESIGNED WITH PURPOSE.
Rogue Branding started with a simple idea: the best work happens when you take the time to really understand the people and organizations behind it.
Over the years, that work has taken many forms — branding, communications, public relations, digital strategy, storytelling and more. But the strongest partnerships have always had something in common. They didn’t feel like traditional client-agency relationships. We knew the organization. We understood the people. We were part of the conversation before the work ever reached the design board or press release.
As our experience grew across communications, media, publishing and organizational leadership, one thing became increasingly clear: great communications work comes from being close enough to understand the whole story.
That idea shapes Rogue Branding today. We work closely with only a small number of organizations at a time, bringing together strategy, communications leadership and hands-on support in a relationship built around the people we serve.
We’re not trying to be the biggest agency in the room.
We’d rather be the team you trust enough to pull up a chair.
“The best work happens when you’re close enough to understand the whole story.”
Meet the team
Brian Gailey
Founder & Principal Strategist
Brian has spent more than two decades helping organizations tell their stories, connect with communities and navigate the places where communications, media and public perception meet.
His career has crossed journalism, branding, public relations, organizational communications and publishing — experience that gives him an unusual ability to move between the big-picture strategy and the hands-on work required to bring it to life.
Brian’s work has included communications leadership for organizations including the Klamath Water Users Association, brand and communications work across Southern Oregon, and the development of regional media organizations reaching audiences throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California.
Today, Brian leads Rogue Branding while also serving as Publisher of Jefferson Daily News and Founder of Jefferson Media Group. Building and operating a growing regional media organization has given him firsthand experience with many of the same challenges Rogue’s partners face every day: finding the right message, reaching the right audience, building trust, managing limited resources and making good ideas actually happen.
Brian was born and raised in Southern Oregon and has spent his career deeply connected to the communities he serves. That local understanding remains an important part of Rogue — even as the organizations we work with and the stories we help tell reach far beyond the region.
Small by Design
Rogue Branding is intentionally built differently from a traditional agency. Brian leads every partnership directly, so the person helping shape the strategy is also someone who knows the organization and stays close to the work.
When a project calls for additional expertise, Rogue can bring in trusted creative, technical and production partners — giving organizations access to the right capabilities without layers of account managers or unnecessary overhead.
